There are so many things to celebrate at Discovery! This past week each grade level celebrated students without referrals in the month of October and it was a tremendous time. We also had our first band concert put on by Ms. Thompson and her amazing band students...it was a great evening. A huge thing to celebrate is that Ms. Melanie Gonzalez has been named a top ten finalist for Osceola County Teacher of the Year! Dr. Shanoff surprised her today with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and we showered her with confetti. Ms. Gonzalez is such a valuable member of our Explorer Family, and she is an amazing representative of everything good about our schools here in Osceola County. Join me in celebrating her amazing accomplishment.  

One other side note, please don't forget that on Tuesday, November 11th, there is no school. If you are a veteran, thank you for your service to this country or any country you may have served!
