As we enter Thanksgiving Week, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to each of you for your continued support and trust when it comes to your child's education. I hope and pray that you all have a week full of laughter, enjoyment, and relaxation. Please use this time to reconnect with your student and to regain some of that time that we as parents lose with our students during the school year. I expect that this will be a week of recharging and refocusing. Enjoy the time and I hope that you all find peace in the season.

Upon return, we will start with the reading PM 2. All three grade levels will take the test on Tuesday, December 2nd; all students will be taking the reading exam. This exam will show the progress that your student has made during this first part of the school year. It is extremely important that your student does his/her best. I will be sending out a separate "parent square" that states our testing incentives for PM 2. Don't forget, on the day of the test, students are able to dress down. Students that bring their laptop on Tuesday will be able to dress down on Wednesday as well. Together, I know that we will show just how successful Discovery is and will be.
